The Australian Government introduced legislation (Commonwealth Privacy Act 1998) that came into force on 21 December 2001 to protect the privacy of individuals. This legislation comprises ten National Privacy Principles that apply to private sector organisations. The project partners of www.OxyGen.org.au respect and uphold your rights to privacy protection under the National Privacy Principles by regulating the way in which we collect, use, disclose, hold and destroy your personal information. Each of the project partner organisations has a detailed policy and set of procedures to ensure that only staff has access to your personal information and that it remains confidential and only used for appropriate purposes and in accordance with their policy.

The site gives visitors the option to opt-out and remove their information from our database to stop all future direct communications from us. If you would like your listed details to be removed from the site please contact us.
