Smoke free laws

hard facts

Gone are the days of the smokey old pub: in some states and territories you can breathe easy in all enclosed public places, including pubs and clubs.

Life’s a beach: some councils in Australia also have laws that prohibit smoking in public outdoor areas e.g. beaches and playgrounds.

Chewing tobacco gets the flick: in Australia it is only legal to manufacture, import and supply tobacco products that can be smoked. All cowboys/ girls please note that all other tobacco products that can be sucked, chewed or snuffed can not be manufactured, imported or supplied here.
