American Idol Kelly Clarkson has a concert in Indonesia on April 29 that is being sponsored and promoted by the cigarette brand LA Lights.
Tobacco companies have long used the sponsorship of concerts popular with young people to promote its products and tobacco use among youth. Australian laws ban tobacco sponsorships of entertainment and sports events and other countries have similar bans – but not Indonesia!
